The FS5 Extension Arm handle is specifically designed to work with the original handgrip of the Sony PXW-FS5. It allows you to extend the arm to control the camera more comfortable. To achieve that, just simply release the locking knob, then pull the arm to find the best position you want, at the end press the locking knob. No need any screw driver to assemble the arm, we already add the female part match to the handgrip on the arm, just use it like original product.

The FS5 handgrip remote control cable can plug into the built-in 2.5mm LANC jack on the extension arm, then connect another end of the 2.5mm DC connector to the REMOTE on the SONY PXW-FS5 camera body. With the extension handgrip, you can keep your original handgrip to control the camera in an extended range. Start and stop, Zoom in & out, parameter setting, menu setting, etc.
