Start with the task
AI output needs inspection. Check hair, fingers, logos, repeated texture and readable text at 100% and at delivery size. Generated detail is not proof of what a camera recorded. Keep the original, record material edits and check permissions before uploading client images or publishing synthetic content.
Work through the checks
Inspect the original and output side by side at the same scale. Compare faces, handwriting, logos and regular patterns. Reduce strength when fine texture becomes repetitive or skin loses natural variation. Keep the source and avoid repeatedly feeding an enhanced output back into the model.
Before delivering
Upscaling increases the pixel grid, not certainty about the scene. A convincing invented detail can be wrong. For documentary, archival or evidence-related uses, distinguish faithful tonal cleanup from reconstructed detail and preserve a clear editing record.
